
Are you interested in real estate? On this page you can read what steps you need to take to reply to a property or request a view.
1. Read carefully the information contained in the text of the advertisement, look at the photos of the property
2. Send an e-mail to info@benhousing.nl expressing your interest in a particular house.
Please send a separate email for each property.
3. In this email you can add a short introduction of yourself (and possibly your partner or roommates).
4. Complete the registration form and add it to your e-mail. Download the registration form here.
5. Attach the necessary documents to the e-mail. Just send documents, which relate to your situation and / or which you have at your disposal. If we need more documents, we will ask for them at a later stage. Please place all documents in one PDF file.
6. After sending the documents, the landlord selects from among those interested, based on the motivation and the submitted documents.
7. If you are selected you will receive an email with the date and time of viewing.

1. If you are interested in the property after viewing, please let us know by e-mail. Complete the e-mail with missing documents.
2. The owner makes a choice from all interested parties. You will be informed about it by phone by the broker. If you do not have an assigned home, you will receive an email about this.
Note:
• We cannot guarantee that you will always receive a response from us in case of high interest
• Property owner makes choice based on documents submitted, you may not be invited to view

Would you like to reply to the property after viewing? Upload the following documents from yourself and possibly from your roommate / partner to your account as soon as possible under the heading Your scheduled reviews.
Are you employed?
- A short cover letter expressing yourself to the landlord
- A color copy of your passport or ID card; please provide a passport photo and social security number!
- If you do not live in Rotterdam, extract from the Municipal Personal Data Base
- 3 copies of the most recent pay slips
- Copy of the latest annual statement
- Employer’s statement
- A copy of the employment contract
- No statement for rent from current / previous landlord or mortgage statement (if applicable)
- Bank statement for the last 3 months showing the salary deposit and rent amortization (or mortgage payment)
- If you do not meet the income requirement, a surety is required. We would like to receive 3 current payslips, a color copy of your passport or ID card from the guarantor. If the surety is married, we would also like to receive a copy of the surety partner’s passport or ID card.
Are you a student?
- A short cover letter introducing yourself to the landlord;

- A color copy of your passport or ID card; please provide a passport photo and social security number!
- Review of income from student scholarship (e.g. Print screen DUO)
- Evidence of the study you are currently watching
- The last 3 payslips from the guarantor
- A color copy of the guarantor’s passport or ID card
- If the surety is married, we would also like to receive a copy of the surety partner’s passport or ID card.
Are you self-employed?
- A short cover letter introducing yourself to the landlord;
- A color copy of your passport or ID card; please provide a passport photo and social security number!
- If you do not live in Rotterdam, extract from the Municipal Personal Data Base
- Extract from the Commercial Register at the Chamber of Commerce;
- Annual financial statements and current balance sheet and profit and loss account approved
- If you have not been self-employed for 3 years yet, a surety is required. We would like to receive the last 3 payslips from the surety, a color copy of your passport or ID card; please provide a passport photo and social security number! If the surety is married, we would also like to receive a copy of the surety partner’s passport or ID card

Gas water light.
In many cases, you rent a house without gas, water and light. For this purpose, you can enter into a contract with your energy supplier. You then make a monthly advance payment, followed by final billing based on consumption at the end of the year. If you have used less than the advances made, you will either get the money back or the monthly advance will be reduced. If you used more, you have to pay the difference.

Internet / TV
To use the internet at home, you sign a contract with your internet service provider. Many ISPs also offer TV subscriptions. Note that this does not apply to Polish television. The price differences relate to the speed of the internet. The higher the price, the faster the internet is.
Report:
If you are moving into your own home, you must register with the municipality. For this you can go to the town hall in the respective municipality or in many cases it can also be done online.
